Ingrowing nail

Katrina Corby

These can be caused by lots of things. Cutting the toenail too short, tight shoes or just the shape of your nail.

The problem can be resolved in lots of ways by a Podiatrist. I can also prescribe antibiotics if the toe is infected.

At the first appointment, a minor treatment can be preformed and a discussion on how best to go forward to prevent the same thing happening again. This can be by self care or by a surgical technique to either permanently or temporary removal of the offending piece or whole of the nail.
